Dublin next up for Longford in O'Byrne Cup

Longford manger Billy O’Loughlin was happy with his Longford side despite their last gasp defeat to Offaly.

An injury time goal and point from Niall McNamee gave Offaly a 1-16 to 2-12 victory on Wednesday night.

“Padraic Joyce came on as a sub from Mostrim and he probably scored 1-2 from play and he was excellent” explained O’Loughlin

“We through we had it in the bag” revealed O’Loughlin. “You can never write off experienced players like Niall McNamee and Bernard Allen”.

“The referee had the board up for four minutes and he played five, but you take the good with the bad”.
