The Roscommon senior football championship final will throw in this Sunday at Dr. Hyde Park as Padraig Pearses take on Roscommon Gaels at 2pm. 2019 seen both these sides meet at this stage with Pearses coming out on top on that occasion while they have also claimed the title in 2021 having lost the 2020 decider to St Brigids. A panel built on experience and an injection of successful underage players has seen Pearses flourish in recent years and that is something that captain Niall Daly noted when speaking to the sports-desk
