St. Johns Athletic just failed to advance to the last 32 of the FAI Junior Cup when beaten 2–1 at home by fancied Donegal champions Fanad United.
St. Johns Athletic were the better side in the first-half and led 1–0 at half-time.
However, Fanad improved as the game went on and scored twice in the last six minutes to progress to the next round.
Ronan Morris headed a corner to the Fanad net on 23 minutes. Eddie O’Reilly equalised and Paddy Carr got the winner in the 90th minute.
Ballymoe F.C beat a much-improved Ballaghaderreen 2–0 in their Premier Division game at Ballymoe. Damien Goggins scored for Ballymoe after 28 minutes and Conor Kennedy added a second on 67 minutes.
Boyle Celtic played Castlerea Celtic at Boyle in the Premier Division.
Castlerea Celtic were leading 4–2 on 79 minutes when a head injury to the home keeper caused the game to be abandoned.
Adam McDermott scored three and Ronan Curran one for Castlerea Celtic.Adam Dwyer scored two for the hosts.

Moylough 79 go top of the division one following a 2–0 win over nearest challengers Ballinasloe Town at Moylough.
The first-half was even enough although Leo Donnellan came close to scoring for the hosts but were denied by the Ballinasloe Town keeper.
Five minutes into the second-half, Moylough broke the deadlock. A well struck Shane Donnellan free-kick was parried by the visitor’s keeper and Cathal Donnellan stroked the loose ball home.
Ten minutes later Moylough made it 2–0. Joseph Whyte scored following a corner kick and Moylough held out to take all three points.
Glen Celtics hopes of catching the leaders received a set-back when they were held 2–2 at home to Cloonfad United.
Gavin Hegarty struck for the Glenamaddy side after nine minutes. His side missed many chances to put the game to bed by half-time.
Against the run of play Cloonfad won and converted two penalties on 63 and 69 minutes through Conor Flynn.
Michael Heneghan levelled the game shortly afterwards but Cloonfad United held out to take a point from the game.
The points table reads; Moylough 12 points from six games. Ballinasloe Town 11 points from six games, Skyvalley Rovers seven points from four games, Dunmore Town seven points from five games and Cloonfad United seven points from four games.
Kilkerrin United stretched their lead at the top of the division two table to five points but with two more games played than their nearest challengers, after a comfortable 4–0 win over Roscommon United at Lecarrow.
Barry McGinn gave Kilkerrin United the lead on 26 minutes. Oisin Hynes added a second before half-time. Declan Murphy and Luke Walsh added two more after the break.
In the reserve division Castlerea Celtic beat Boyle Celtic 4–0 at Castlerea.
Kevin Hestor was in sparkling form for Castlerea, scoring one and John Farrell added two more and Murillo Bizarre added one.
Dunmore Town beat Ballaghaderreen F.C 4–0 at Ballaghaderreen Thomas Gleeson scored twice, Daithi Reddington and Raman Saman scored one each.
