Roscommon missed out on an All-Ireland premier junior camogie final following 2-12 to 0-8 defeat to Tipperary at Donaghmore Ashbourne.
The sides were tied at two points each on eight minutes. Niamh Watson and Shauna Fallon on target for the Rossies.
However, Tipperary subsequently raised the intensity landing six of the next seven scores to lead 0-8 to 0-3 at half-time.
Whereas, Roscommon’s Orla Connolly brought it back to a four-point game 15 minutes from time. However, any hopes of a comeback ended quickly.
Two goals in two minutes from Jean Kelly helped Tipperary to a ten-point lead eight minutes from time. Indeed, the Premier County held on to win by the same margin.
