Roscommon will start their LIDL ladies national football league campaign at home to Down.
Ollie Lennon was reinstated as Roscommon manager last month after the 2023 saw Roscommon relegated to Lidl league division three.
Indeed, Lennon’s side will have a tricky home fixture against Down on Sunday January 21st. The following week Roscommon host Louth. Their first away game is a trip to Clare on February 11th.
Seven days later the Rossies have a Connacht derby away to Sligo. The campaign winds up in March at home to Wexford and Offaly and finally away to Antrim on March 24th.
Meanwhile, Leitrim begin their division four campaign away to Kilkenny on January 14 with Longford travelling to Fermanagh. The following week Wicklow go to Leitrim and Longford go to Kilkenny.
On January 28th Leitrim travel to Derry, while Longford make the trip to Carlow. While round four takes place on February 11th when Leitrim go to Fermanagh and Longford go to Limerick.
The following week Leitrim host Limerick, while Derry host Longford. Whereas, round six see’s Longford host Wicklow and Leitrim travel to Carlow. The league campaign wraps up when Leitrim meet Longford on March third.
Thereare, semi-finals scheduled for division four, whereas the top two in division’s one, two and three progress straight to the final.
Elsewhere, holders Kerry begin the defence of their Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 1 crown with a glamour clash against Dublin on the opening weekend.
Division 2 will contain Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal (relegated from Division 1 in 2023), Tipperary, Kildare (promoted from Division 3), Tyrone, 2023 runners-up Laois and Westmeath.
The Divisions 1 and 2 Finals will be played at Croke Park on Sunday April 7. While, the Divisions 3 and 4 Finals scheduled for Saturday April 6.
