Roscommon were crowned Allianz hurling league division 3A champions following a 2-17 to 0-15 win over Armagh at Navan.
The Rossies held the upper hand throughout the contest and ran out eight point winners in the end.
Conor Mulry’s goal on ten minutes saw the Rossies lead 1-3 to 0-1. Five minutes later Paddy Fallon pushed the Rossies six points clear.
The sides cancelled each other out during the remainder of the half as Roscommon led 1-9 to 0-6 at half-time.
Fallon made it a seven-point game one minute from time; 60 seconds later Mickey Joe Egan added a goal helping Roscommon to a convincing win.
