The Roscommon hurlers’ winless start to Allianz hurling division 3A continues after losing 2-16 to 0-15 to Louth at Dr. Hyde Park.
Louth led 2-10 to 0-7 at half-time; Conor Mulry (four), Paddy Fallon, Eoin Fizgerald and Darragh Finn on target for the Rossies.
Fitzgerald was sent off on the stroke of half-time and Roscommon’s struggles continued during the second half. Louth capitalised and moved ten points clear on 54 minutes.
The Rossies followed up with four successive scores from Mickey Joe Egan (two), Jack Dowling and Mulry but still fell short in the end.
