St Ronan's and Padraig Pearses will have to do it all again after a dramatic Roscommon junior final draw in Dr Hyde Park.
The game finished St. Ronan's 2-14 Padraig Pearses 3-11 after extra-time. The game had finished 1-9 each in normal time.
It was a tight end to end affair throughout Pearses having led six points to five at half-time. Ronan Kelly goal for St. Ronan's had looked like giving them victory.
However Pearses fought back and Shane Mulvey's goal in the first minue of injury time, put Pearses ahead. John Keaveny's equaliser sent the game to extra-time.
Just two minutes into extra-time Gary O’Daly shot a goal for as they moved into command and led 2-10 to 1-11 at half-time in extra-time.
Three minutes after the restart Sean Fahy found the Ronan’s net and four minutes later Eoin McManus converted a penalty to put Pearses 3-11 to 2-12 ahead.
Ronan’s were not done and two John keaveny points sent the game to a replay.
