The Roscommon ladies footballers reached the semi-finals of the TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate championship thanks to a 5-10 to 4-4 win over the Offaly in Kinnegad.
A strong second half saw the Rossies emerge victorious having trailed 3-2 to 2-4 at the interval with Joanne Cregg and Aoife Gavin finding the net for Michael Finneran’s side.
Ten minutes after the restart, Offaly led by two points after scoring their fourth goal of the day.
Roscommon outscored the Faithful county 3-4 to two points thereafter and ran out nine point winners in the end.
Lisa O’Rourke scored Roscommon’s third goal of the day before Sinead Glennon added two more.
The Connacht outfit can now look forward to a semi-final meeting with Westmeath in a fortnight’s time.
