Roscommon ladies through to semi-finals despite Sligo defeat

Roscommon narrowly lost out to Sligo at Markievicz Park as the hosts recorded a 13 points to 11 victory in the Lidl ladies football league

Sligo laid the foundation for the win in the first half as they led eight points to six at half-time. The Rossies fought back to level matters at the second water break before the hosts narrowly shaded the final quarter and ran out two-point winners.

Roscommon will now face Laois in the league semi-finals while Sligo will go up against Kildare on Sunday June 13.
