This one will go a long way to deciding the final line-up in division 3A.
Roscommon are unbeaten so far, but their wins so far have came against Louth and Warwickshire teams fifth and sixth in the table.
For their part Armagh have tasted victory against Monaghan and Warwickshire. This one should be closely contested on paper.
Roscommon have improved after a disastrous 2021. Brendan Mulry (2), Conor Cosgrove and Cathal Dolan all found the net against Warwickshire. Goal chances should be as plentiful this week.
Armagh ran in four goals against Monaghan. Ryan Gaffney will be the danger man for the orchard county. This one should be close. Roscommon can edge it.
Armagh v Roscommon
Sunday March 6
The Athletic Grounds, Throw-in: 2pm
Leitrim sit atop division 3B with four points, two wins from two.
Longford are two points behind having tasted defeat to Fermanagh, a game were Fermanagh didn’t register one score in the second-half.
Longford have flattered to deceive over the last few years and an expected victory over Lancashire last time out will hardly build confidence.
Leitrim on the other hand have seen somewhat of a revival in their fortunes. Lory Meagher cup winners back in 2019. Leitrim are still working on a bounce from the win.
A surprise on paper would be a Leitrim win, a surprise on the pitch wouldn’t be.
