Roscommon booked their place in the Allianz league division 3A final with a comfortable win over Monaghan in Clontibret.
With Monaghan down some big names Roscommon took full advantage Brendan Mulry’s close range goal helping Roscommon into a 1-10 to eight point half-time lead.
Paddy Fallon sent over four of the first five points after the break as Roscommon won out 1-19 to 14 points.
The result see’s Roscommon progress to the division 3A final and will play Monaghan or Armagh in the final.
Meanwhile, Leitrim scored a last gasp victory over Longford 10 points to nine in Drumshanbo. Both teams had already secured progress to the semi-finals.
Longford and Leitrim will meet again in the semi-final with the winner facing Cavan in the final.
