It’s already been a good year for Roscommon, who saw off Wexford to land the Lidl NFL Division 3 title and clinch promotion to Division 2.
A TG4 Connacht Intermediate Final loss to Leitrim was a setback but Roscommon recovered well. Victory over Kildare in the group stages was good enough to finish second behind Longford in Group C, and progress to the quarter-finals.
Louth, meanwhile, have acquitted themselves extremely well, with victories over Down and Clare seeing the Wee County finish on top of Group B.
