The Roscommon hurlers bowed out of the Connacht hurling league after a defeat to Mayo on Wednesday evening.
Mayo scored a four point win on the Rossies on Wednesday night. Mayo winning out 23 points to 1-16.
Cormac Mulry’s goal had Roscommon well and truly in the contest. However it was Mayo who finished out the strongest.
Mayo advance to the Connacht hurling league final, set for the Connact air dome at 7pm on Saturday.
Whereas, Roscommon will play the losers of Thursday evening’s semi-final between Galway Development and New York in Saturday evening’s Shield final in The Dome at 5pm.
