Roscommon will meet Sligo in the All-Ireland football championship group stages after Galway secured the Connacht title.
Galway sealed back-to-back Connacht titles after a 2-20 to 0-12 points win over Sligo in the final at McHale Park.
Matthew Tierney scored 2-7 to secure the Nestor cup for Galway as they take their place in group two of the All-Ireland championship.
Sligo will go into group three as Connacht runners-up and will start the group stage against Kildare on May 20/21.
Roscommon will host Sligo in Dr Hyde Park on June third or fourth. Sligo’s final game in a neutral venue against the Leinster champions on June 17/18.
Roscommon will begin their campaign away to the Leinster champions, the week before facing Sligo. Roscommon’s meeting with Kildare will round-out the group.
As Connacht champions Galway enter group two with Tyrone, Westmeath and the Ulster runner-up.
New Munster and defending All-Ireland champions Kerry will enter group one and will face the Leinster runner-up (Dublin or Louth), Mayo and Cork.
Group four will see Clare join Monaghan and Donegal as munster runner-up. Ulster champions Derry or Armagh will be the top seed in group one.
