Shaun Chandler’s last-gasp goal gave Leitrim Gaels a 2-9 to 1-14 victory over Fenagh St.Caillins as Gaels finished top of the senior championship table.
Both sides still qualify directly for the semi-finals with Fenagh claiming second place by virtue of a superior scoring difference when compared with St Mary’s Kiltoghert and Ballinamore Sean O’Heslin's.
Paul Keaney and Emmet Regan both found the net as St. Mary’s beat Gortletteragh 2-16 to 0-8 while two goals in each half helped Ballinamore to a 4-9 to 1-13 victory over Glencar Manorhamilton.
Meanwhile, Mohill were too strong for Aughawillan winning 5-10 to 0-18. Both sides amassed four points but Mohill finish in fifth place by virtue of a superior head-to-head record.
Elsewhere, Melvin Gaels got off the mark thanks to a 3-12 to 1-12 victory over St Patrick’s Dromahair. The result leaves Dromahair rooted to the bottom of the table.
