Leinster have confirmed two players have signed their first senior contracts with the province.
Lee Barron and Sam Prendergast will start the new season in the senior ranks having impressed Leo Cullen in their appearances to date.
Barron made his debut in April 2022 in the United Rugby Championship against the Cell C Sharks. The former Ireland U20 international has made six further appearances in the competition.
Sam Prendergast also made his debut in South Africa. The outhalf was named player of the match against the Emirates Lions in April 2023.
Prendergast has won two grand slams with the Ireland U20s. He also played a starring role as Ireland reached the Word U20 final last July.
Leinster play their first game of the pre-season schedule against Munster on Friday, 8 September in Musgrave Park.
