London sustain their perfect record while Leitrim now have two defeats from three games.

Leitrim suffered a disappointing defeat at the hands of London in Allianz football league division four losing 2-5 to 0-9 at the Connacht GAA centre in Bekan.

Leitrim led 0-7 to 1-1 at the half-time break before a superior second half display saw the Exiles emerge victorious in the end.

The hosts were three points up on 16 minutes but three minutes later, parity was restored when Liam Gallagher found the back of the net.

Leitrim responded impressively and points from Ryan O’Rourke, Mark Diffley, Keith Beirne and Shane Quinn helped them to a three-point buffer at the break.

On 51 minutes, a Noel Maher point reduced Leitrim’s lead to a single point but five minutes later, it was back to a two-point game when Beirne added another Leitrim score.

Leitrim would fail to score for the remainder of the contest while London hit 1-1 without reply; James Gallagher scoring their second goal with 12 minutes remaining.
