Sligo Rovers have been awarded a 3-0 win over Waterford FC after the away side failed to fulfil their SSE Airtricity Premier Division fixture on May 15th following a covid-19 issue within the club.
The Waterford panel had been stood down by the HSE due to a positive covid case on the weekending May seventh.
Waterford had fielded their Under-19 team for the May seventh meeting with Drogheda United and lost 7-0.
The updated Premier Division League table see’s Waterford on the bottom spot with six points and a goal difference of -16, while Longford Town are second from bottom with seven points and goal difference of -10.
