Rallying is back and in full flow with the Corrib Oil Galway International rally having taken place over the weekend as the opening round of the Irish Tarmac Rally championship. The World Rally championship also began last month with the Monte Carlo rally and there is plenty of Irish interest with Craig Breen and Paul Nagle in a full time drive with Ford, while Aaron Johnston is on navigating duty in the Toyota Team. The next round will be in the snow in Sweden at the end of this month and further Irish competitors are set to compete with Josh Mc Erlean and his Cavan navigator James Fulton set to compete in the WRC 2 support event. Sean Mc Caffrey spoke to James recently noting firstly that the last time they spoke it was following success in the desert in Qatar, so it would be a big change to go to snow
