St Brigids and Padraig Pearses advanced to the Hudson Bay hotel Roscommon SFC semi-final at some ease.
Collaborative teams North and West Roscommon were no match for the established club heavyweights.

Padriag Pearses advanced to the semi-final with some ease, finding the net with just four minutes on the clock through Paul Carey.

Lorcan Daly, two Carey points and from Conor Payne saw Pearse 1-4 to 0-1 ahead on 11 minutes. Fintan Cregg with West Roscommon’s point.
To be fair the West team didn’t lie down. Another Cregg point and Dessie Carlos goal made it a two point game on 18 minutes. Pearses leading 1-4 to 1-2.
Pearses responded strongly. Declan Kenny (f), Carey (f) and Jack Turmulty sending over points as Pearses led 1-7 to 1-2 at half-time.
Pearses were never threatened in the second-half and points from Paul Carey, Ronan Daly and Declan Kenny plus three from Eoin Colleran (2f) saw them home.
Fintan Cregg sent over four frees with Gerry Gregg another a final point for West Roscommon as they lost out 1-7 to 1-13.
Clann Na nGael or Boyle await in the semi-final.
St Brigids 7-15 North Roscommon 0-7
North Roscommon were caught totally out of their depth in the second SFC quarter-final.
Matthew Burke opened the scoring on three minutes with a North Roscommon point. Alas, it was their final score until the 30th minute.
Ben O’Carroll ran in two goals and a point with a goal each from Ciaran Surgue and Bobby Nugent seeing Brigids lead 4-6 to 0-2 at half-time.
The North side was made up mainly of junior players and although rallied somewhat in the second-half were not match for Brigids.
Ben O’Carroll completed a hat-trick of goals on 42 minutes. Ciaran Surgue grabbed his second goal of the game a minute later. O’Carroll grabbed his fourth four minutes from time.
O’Carroll finished the game with 4-3 with Ciaran Surgue scoring 2-4 as Brigids ran out 29 point winners, 7-15 to 0-7.
Brigids will face Oran or Roscommon Gaels in the semi-final.
