Games Development Officer
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Cian O’Dea as Games Development Officer (GDO) for St Brigid’s GAA Club.
Cian from Ballina in County Mayo, is an honour's graduate in sport science with exercise physiology (BSc) from AIT (TUS) and has previously worked as assistant sport scientist/S&C coach with boxing scientific in the UK.
In this new role, Cian will implement coaching in all our local primary schools, support the U6 academy and the coaching of underage teams within the club.
Cian will run camps/blitzes at holiday times, coordinate coach education events and assist with the establishment and on-going execution of an athletic development programme across the club.
In this role Cian will report to the coaching and games development committee.

Dinner Dance
St. Brigid’s Dinner-Dance takes place on Friday 1st April at 8pm in the Hodson Bay Hotel. Medal presentation on the night to Ladies Intermediate County Champions 2020,
Senior men's County Champions 2020 and Junior A County Champions 2021. Player of the year 2020 & 2021 presentations also. It promises to be a night not to be missed.

Membership
The deadline for registrations is March 31st 2022. We need all memberships registered and finalised by that date.
Discounted rates are available for U23’s and those in fulltime education at the time of registration.
Special family packages are available only until March 31st.
If you register after March 31st, you will still be a member of St Brigids GAA, but you will not have voting rights at the annual General Meeting (AGM) or any Special General Meeting (SGM) should they arise.
If you are not registered as a player then you are not allowed train or play as you are not insured and will not be covered by the player’s injury scheme.
If you are registering your family, make sure all members and their correct details are recorded. e.g. date of birth, gender etc. so that we can register them with the right team.
It is advised that all primary and secondary school going children are part of the personal accident insurance available through most schools.
U13 Boys League
Our U13 Division 4 Boys got off to a winning start to the league with 2 great wins to Western Gaels away in Frenchpark last Friday and Elphin-Ballinameen on Sunday in Kiltoom.
Well done to all the boys that played. Next up away to Padraig Pearses next Sunday 27th March in Woodmount.
