St. Brigid’s reached the Roscommon senior football final following a 4-15 to 0-12 victory over Roscommon Gaels at Dr. Hyde Park.
The result was never in doubt. Brigid’s were 11 points clear at half-time before finishing the game with 15 points to spare.
St Brigid’s were three points clear after 11 minutes before two goals in three minutes gave them a seven-point cushion.
Eddie Nolan found the net on 19 minutes before Ronan Stack added another goal.

Brigid’s attacking ruthlessness has been evident throughout the campaign. Ben O’Carroll kept the trend going by finding the net on 26 minutes.
Brian Kelly and Mark Purcell replied with a point each for Gaels. Frankie Dolan’s side still trailed 3-7 to 0-5 at the break
Ciaran Sugure gave Brigid’s a 12-point cushion on 49 minutes. Two minutes later Ben O’Carroll registered his second goal and Brigid’s fourth.
The sides cancelled each other out thereafter as Brigid’s held on for a comfortable victory.
St Brigids will now meet the winners of Sunday's semi-final between Padraig Pearses and Boyle in the county final on Sunday October 22nd.
