St Dominic’s reached the Roscommon intermediate football final following a 5-16 to 2-9 victory over Clann na nGael at Dr Hyde Park today.
Four goals inside the opening 20 minutes saw St. Dominic’s lead 4-9 to 2-4 at half-time. Conor Fallon scored a brace while Darragh Keenan and Darren Donnelly also found the net.
Darren Donnelly subsequently added another goal as a dominant second-half display saw St. Dominic’s finish with 16 points to spare.
Clann na nGael tried hard but struggled to find scores. Ross Naughton was their leading marksman with 1-4 while Shane Henry amassed 1-2.
