It was a good weekend for Roscommon as St Brigids claimed a spot in the senior club provincial final and Enda Smith picked up an all-star.
A first for the county since Francie Grehan in 2001.
The Boyle clubman claimed the accolade following a fine year with the county. While Roscommon did not reach the All-Ireland quarter finals, they did perform well in division 1 of the league.
Smith was included a number of times on the player of the week teams as well as picking up three player of the match awards.
Speaking to the sports desk he noted how winning the award was still sinking in.
