Three candidates are currently in the frame to succeed Anthony Cunningham as Roscommon senior football manager.
A new boss is expected to be put forward for ratification at a special county board meeting on Wednesday evening.
Kildare’s former Under-20 boss Davy Burke has been interviewed for the position along with Padraig Pearses' boss Pat Flanagan and Ballymun Kickhams' manager Brendan Hackett.
The Lilywhites claimed an All-Ireland Under-20 title under Burke's leadership in 2018 and he subsequently guided Sarsfields to a Kildare senior title one year later.
Flanagan has led Padraig Pearses to Roscommon senior titles in 2019 and 2021 while he followed up on the latter success with a provincial crown last January.
Ballymun Kickhams won a Dublin senior crown under Hackett's stewardship two years ago while he also masterminded two Leinster titles while in charge of the Kildare minor footballers.
Roscommon are now the only county without a senior manager after Paddy Carr was appointed Donegal boss last night.
