Tyrone’s Conn Kilpatrick will miss Saturday’s All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final with Roscommon after his sending-off against Cork.
The central hearings committee (CHC) have now ruled against Kilpatrick under rule, 7.2 (b), Category III, T.O. 2024, that is, “Striking with hand, with minimal force”.
Kilpatrick requested a hearing which took place on Tuesday, June 18.
The CHC found the infraction proven and imposed a two match suspension. The hearing states the suspension related to senior inter-county grade games.
Thus, Kilpatrick will also miss the All-Ireland quarter-final if Tyrone overcome Roscommon. Alternatively if Roscommon knock Tyrone out, Kilpatrick will miss the opening fixture of the 2025 Allianz League.
However, Kilpatrick does, have the option to appeal the decision.
Tyrone versus Roscommon is live on Saturday Sport from 2pm.
