Wicklow made it back to back wins in Allianz league division four with a three-point win over Leitrim.
Andy Moran’s men looked to be on for victory after Keith Beirne’s 45th minute goal. Wicklow followed up their win over Laois to move themselves into a promotion place.
Leitrim edged the first-half leading six points to five at the break. Keith Beirne (2f), Mark Plunkett, Jack Heslin and Darragh Rooney all scoring points.
Paul Geaney moved two points Leitrim two clear three minutes into the second-half. Seven minutes later Beirne found the net collecting a high ball and rounding keeper Mark Jackson to slot into an empty net.
Wicklow responded quickly with two Eoin Darcy frees. Beirne converted two further frees but those were the final Leitrim scores of the game.
Eoin Darcy and Dean Healy found scores to level the game with five remaining.
Darcy added two further points plus another point from Healy left Leitirm for six as Wicklow recorded a 15 points to 1-9 victory.
